Mirror Saga

Visualisation
The first part was ideation. I just went on procreate and started drawing possibilities. In different styles. And landed on the final drawing.

The second step was to find a mirror. I looked through carousell to find the cheapest deals I could find. There were many out of my budget. Landing on a mirror listed to be A3 size which costs $8 was perfect. But when I collected it. It definitely looked bigger than I thought. I doubted myself. When I got home that's when I confirmed It was indeed bigger than the listed size. It was A2 sized.

I learned a valuable lesson, trust my eye.

So to solve the problem, the plan was to cut the mirror. Disastrous. A lot harder than I thought. It shattered. Very surprising. Omg.

Redemption Arc time. I was back on Carousell in search of the next best mirror. Found this beautiful arched mirror which made me kind of glad the A2 mirror failed. I think it looks a lot cuter with an arched mirror.

So second lesson learned is, Success comes from failures.

Weird vlog of me disembodying the mirror. (I talked to myself a lot)

Painting time. Most nervous for this part because my skills in painting is no Bueno. I haven't painted with acrylic since my time in secondary school art class. But I took account of that from the start and made sure my design was simple and doable. I think my sister was surprised I actually managed to finish the mirror. She was nervous because I delayed the project a lot (due to our moving of houses).

Really bare

Actually cute ?

Yay

Disaster number 2. I did not document touching it up and adding details sadly. I was on my little staycay moment when I received a text that the mirror broke. Honestly, I was just enjoying my time that I actually did not care too much whilst everyone was freaking out.

Lesson tres, Bubble wrap would have been helpful

Anyway, they glued it back together the best they could and still put it up. Still looked cute and it was not all bad.
